TECHNIQUES EXPLAINED
Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)
Neuro Linguistic Programming has been called ‘the Science of Excellence, the Art of Change’ and is a technique used to help us understand how we experience the world around us, how we interpret those experiences, how we behave as a result of that interpretation and what the outcomes of that behaviour – either intentional or unintentional – achieve for us.
A definition:
Neuro relates to the neurological processes of our senses – sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch – and how the information these senses provides us with influences our behaviour. This is both invisible behaviour – our thoughts – and visible behaviour displayed by our body language. The mind and body are inextricably linked and constantly reflect each other.
Linguistic refers to our use of language in ordering our thoughts (our internal dialogue) as well as communicating with others.
Programming is a reference to the choices available to us in organising our thoughts, ideas and actions to produce specific outcomes. Ultimately, when we understand our thinking processes and what influences them, we can make changes and achieve different results. For example, we can choose to see the glass as half empty or half full and behave accordingly. I am a Master Practitioner in NLP for business and will use my knowledge and practical skills to help you see that opportunities do exist and all you have to do is choose to take them
